Abstract

In network security, intrusion detection system plays an important role as it is able to detect various types of attacks in the network. The main idea of the intrusion detection system is to recognize the malicious attacks which intimidate the security from the information system’s normal activities. The intrusion detection system can be formulated basically as a problem of binary classification, so that it can be solved using effective classification technique. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is the most prominent classification algorithms in the area of data mining, but it has limitation such as extensive training time. To rectify this limitation, a modified version of SVM is introduced in this work. In this work, classification is done using modified SVM and evaluation of the proposed method is done using KDD dataset by conducting experiments. The experimental result proved that the extensive time is reduced using modified SVM by performing proper dataset.

Abstract

The present studies were performed to see the influence of alkyl amines on the growth of 0.3 molar sodium lauryl sulphate micellar solutions at 303 K, 313 K and 323 K. In the present study ethylamine and n-tributyl amine were used. The results are interpreted and reported with the help of ultrasonic velocity and absorption studies.

Abstract

Ultrasonic velocity studies were undertaken on solutions of cellulose acetate phthalate in alkali metal hydroxides LiOH, NaOH and KOH and water mixture in the concentration range 0-2.5% by weight at frequency of 3 MHz in three different temperatures, 303 K, 313 K, 323 K. The observed non-linear increase in ultrasonic velocity with increase of cellulose acetate phthalate concentration is attributed to the polymer-ion interaction in higher electrolytes.

Abstract

This study focuses on the struggle and importance of mother in the life of an individual. Mothering is very difficult than fathering. Father plays a minimalistic role and it is the mother, whose part is vital in the upbringing of a child. It attests the pathetic and single mother Sweetness’ struggle to raise her daughter Lula Ann Bridewell without physical and emotional oppression. Her strict brought up thus makes her daughter to attain the sense of selfhood and confidence.
